PFBC and Merle is 4/6!

This Saturday - 6pm Post Falls Brewing Co. - great little place with a view of the river!

On April 6th, the Spokane River Band will doing our show called "The Merle Haggard Story" at North Spokane Eagles at 7pm.  The only more interesting than Merle Haggard's music is Merle Haggard's life story.  Hear about the boy that was raised in a boxcar and did time in San Quentin and then went on to be the greatest of all time!  Go to www.MerleTribute.com for details.

This week

Last Friday something horrible and unthinkable happened.  Fellow musician and friend, James (Russ) Brown was killed in a car accident.  Everyone is still reeling from the shock of it and his wife was also injured in the wreck and so she is healing up in the hospital as she also deals with this terrible loss of her husband.

I will be attending a benefit for her that is being held at The Wagon Wheel in Suncrest WA from 11am to 5pm Saturday.  Then after that, the Spokane River Band is scheduled to play at the Lariat that night at 8.  Our hearts are heavy but we will carry on.  The Lariat was a place that Russ Brown played at often so I know we'll be thinking of him.
