Rusty Jackson plays over 100 shows a year in the Pacific Northwest and on nationwide tours. Rusty is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a truly unique "one man band" performer. His shows are filled with creative original songs, as well as familiar classics and spontaneous comedy.
Rusty grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams as well as the pervasive pop and rock sounds of the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Motown. Rusty's song "The music from when I was a kid" (below) talks about his musical influences. And Rusty has also played in church a great deal and has written several faith based songs. Also, the track below "I Found McCall" tells the true story of how Rusty got his first gig when he was 19 years old.
Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon & Wille - these are just a few of the legends that Rusty Jackson does impersonations of during his shows! If you love classic country music then you will really enjoy hearing Rusty do those classic hit songs that we all remember. Plus, Rusty plays iconic, classic pop/rock tunes as well and also you will hear some Rusty Jackson originals in the mix. CLICK HERE to book Rusty for your event or venue.
